Excellent rifle. The bolt is very stiff on ejecting a round. You really need to put the butt of the gun in your lap to get leverage. Otherwise, this thing is perfect.

Everything I hope it would be,after the first box of ammo the group size is shrinking nicely( half inch at 100yds w/factory ammo). Very nice fit to the average Joe(me). It is a typical Savage and I own four oops Five now.
