I shopped extensively for these magazines, comparing prices. GAC offered the best price. Now waiting to see if someone (Savage?) will manufacture these mags in a 20 round or larger capacity.

I bought a Savage Arms Magazine #30005 for a Stevens Model 62. It fits and works perfectly. I bought it here at THE GUN SOURCE. The price was reasonable and they had it in stock, and the shipping was fast.

These mags are well built, better than some of the more expensive stuff I''ve seen for other firearms I won''t mention. They can and will take a beating. Easy to load, insert, and detatch. Savage makes good stuff!

I ordered three more magazines for my 22 rifle. While the product gets 3 stars for some sharp edges that catch the rounds as they get fed into the chamber (you can file these down so they don''t chew up rounds), the service was great and the magazines arrived quickly. Great Mag....makes an inexpensive Lakefield 64 run like new again, no more jams or mis-feeds which apparently were caused by the worn out stock mag!! They''ve got the best price too! If you find a few more small items you need it makes the shipping more reasonable too.
