I recently bought this rifle to hunt whitetail deer with. i had it chambered in 30-06, and i shoot 165 grain pointed soft points. the first day out i killed a nice buck from 175 yards away in one shot. i also use the rifle to target shoot because of its amazing accuracy,it is easily as accurate as my .223 w/bull barrel, and 6.5x20x60 scope. it is a great rifle for the price. i sighted it in once, and it has never needed adjusting

I am a beginner shooter and i recently purchased this rifle in 30-06. So far I have few problems. It is accurate fairly accurate out of the box even though the scope is low end. Once I upgraded the scope I have been shooting 1-1/2 groups at 200 yards. There are a few problems though. One problem is the bolt comes up too high and I hit my thumb on the scope if I am not careful. The bolt is also rather sticky. I am hoping that will break in. The only other problem is that the detatchable box comes halfway out when i use 220 grain rounds. It works fine with 165 grain but it gets risky with anything higher than that. I would recommend this rifle to anyone. Great price for a quality gun.
