Trigger set by factory at 2.3 #. The only way to improve this gun would be to offer it with a heavy barrel with a threaded muzzle. But, that is a different application. It did have a nice butt pad to help with the recoil of the 300 Win. Not a volume shooter, but very good cold shot hunting rifle. Light weight, carry all day for an accurate first shot on game. Demands a solid scope and rings. I am pleased.
