Super accurate rifle out to 110 yds with the nylon v max tips. The only beef I had was the fact that the spring in the clip was a little loose so if ANY abonormal movement touched the cartridges in the clip as the clip was being inserted into the receiver, five shells at an average of 28 cents per shell exploded out of the clip like a toy jack in the box. Granted, 28 cents isn''t a lot but at a $1.40 every 4th or 5th clip it did tend to piss me off. I have only run one box of shells through it ]well not a whole box due to what was happening[ but I did make two head shots on some fat bottomed Rio Grande Turkeys that made for great eating.... One at 78 yards and one at 107. I am currently in communication with Savage Arms about the pissy clip that i received but all in all, another GREAT PIECE OF ART from Savage.
